Terms of Service

LUWEI is a digital service that curates spa, sauna, hot spring, and aesthetics wellness destinations through community-based curation and provides mood-based recommendations.

Place listings on LUWEI are based on recommendations from real visitors and community resonance. LUWEI provides place information but does not guarantee the quality or safety of the listed establishments. Users are responsible for their own experience.

LUWEI is not a medical service and does not provide health-related advice or diagnosis.

For bookings, tickets, and other products sold by venues (partners), LUWEI acts as an intermediary (mail-order brokerage) and is not a party to the transaction. Responsibility for the provision, fulfillment, quality, and safety of products and services lies with the venue (partner) selling them. LUWEI bears responsibility as an intermediary only within the scope prescribed by applicable law.

LUWEI content is originally written in Korean. Content in other languages (English, Chinese, Japanese) is provided as a translation for convenience. While we strive for accuracy, translations may contain errors or omissions; in case of any discrepancy between languages, the Korean original prevails. This also applies to these Terms and all policy documents.

• "Service": Place curation, mood-based recommendations, community (reviews/posts), newsletter, and related web experiences provided by LUWEI
• "Content": Place information, curation text, mood tags, etc. created by LUWEI
• "User Content": Reviews, posts, photos, videos, etc. posted by users in the community

• You can create an account with email and password.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

• LUWEI may modify parts of the Service for operational or technical reasons.
• Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means, unless urgent for security or stability.

• Browsing LUWEI content (place information, guides, etc.) is free of charge.
• LUWEI facilitates payment for paid products such as bookings and tickets sold by venues (partners); payments are processed via a payment gateway (NICE Payments).
• When a booking is formed: completing payment submits a booking request. The booking is formed at the moment the venue confirms it, which it must do within 15 minutes. If the venue does not confirm within 15 minutes, or declines, the booking is cancelled automatically and 100% of the payment is refunded.
• Once a booking is formed, the contract for the service itself is between you and that venue (partner). LUWEI acts as an e-commerce intermediary for the transaction.
• The commission LUWEI receives from the venue is not added to what you pay. LUWEI and the venue settle it out of the amount you already paid.
• Prices, terms of use, and cancellation/refund conditions for paid products are displayed on the checkout screen and the Refund Policy page.
• Cancellations and refunds for bookings and tickets follow the Refund Policy and the conditions stated on each product's purchase screen.
• Paid services for partners, such as the partner signup fee, are governed by the Partner Agreement.

• Users may subscribe to our newsletter and may unsubscribe at any time.
• Important service announcements (e.g., changes to terms) may be sent regardless of subscription preferences.

• Users retain rights to their personal data (favorites, mood check records, etc.).
• LUWEI may process user data within the scope necessary to provide the Service (place recommendations, mood analysis, customer support, quality improvement).

• You retain copyright to any content you post in the community (reviews, photos, videos, etc.).
• By posting content, you agree to the following:

· Posted content may be displayed, curated, recommended, and used for promotion within the LUWEI service.

· Your nickname will be displayed when your content is used.

· You may delete your posted content at any time; upon deletion, its use within the service will also cease.

• LUWEI does not sell user content to third parties or use it commercially outside the service.
• When uploading photos or videos, you must only post content you have taken yourself or have the right to use.
• If you post another party's work (photos, videos, text, etc.) without authorization, all legal responsibility arising from that content lies with you as the poster.
• LUWEI has no obligation to pre-screen user-posted content; when a copyright infringement report is received, we act under the procedure below.

• Place information provided by LUWEI is collected from community recommendations, various public sources, and real visit experiences, cross-verified and organized.
• Information collection and verification methods:

· Voluntary recommendations and reviews from LUWEI community users

· Public information from review platforms (Naver Reviews, Google Reviews, etc.)

· Information from official business websites, official SNS, map services, and other public platforms

· Public reviews and information from online communities

· On-site visits by the operations team (select locations)

• Some tips, reviews, and place recommendations are editorial content created by our operations team based on publicly available sources (public reviews, SNS, communities, etc.). Such content is not a direct reproduction of any original text, but independently written based on factual information.
• Place information (addresses, business hours, prices, etc.) consists of publicly available factual data, while curation descriptions and mood tags are independently written by LUWEI based on collected information.
• We do not copy or reproduce content (original reviews, photos, etc.) from any specific community or individual without permission.
• Business hours, prices, and operational information may change and may not be reflected in real-time.
• If you find errors or information that needs updating, please report via the community or email (business@luwei.kr) for prompt correction.
• If a listed business requests it, we will modify or remove their information.

• Copyright for curation texts, guides, mood tags, place descriptions, design elements, and other content created by LUWEI belongs to LUWEI.
• Unauthorized reproduction, reprinting, or redistribution of LUWEI content is prohibited.
• If you wish to quote our content, please cite the source and contact us in advance at business@luwei.kr.

• If you believe that photos, text, reviews, or other content posted in the community infringes on your copyright or portrait rights, please contact us at business@luwei.kr.
• Upon confirmation of rights infringement, we will promptly delete or make the content private.
• For faster processing, please include: URL of the infringing content, proof of your original work, and your contact information.
• If a listed business requests modification or removal of their information (photos, descriptions, etc.), we will process the request accordingly.

LUWEI operates the following procedure to protect copyright.

Step 1 — Report submission

• The copyright holder (or an authorized agent) submits a report by email to business@luwei.kr.
• The report must include: the URL of the infringing content, evidence of the original work (link, file, etc.), the reporter's name and contact information, and a statement that the content was used without authorization.

Step 2 — Content taken offline

• Upon receipt, LUWEI reviews the content and makes it private or deletes it.
• We aim to complete processing within 3 business days of receiving the report.
• The poster is notified of the action and the reason for it.

Step 3 — Counter-notice

• If the poster asserts that they hold legitimate rights, they may submit a counter-notice by email to business@luwei.kr.
• The counter-notice must include: evidence that the poster holds the rights to the content, and contact information.
• Upon receipt of a counter-notice, the matter is handled through discussion between the parties; if no agreement is reached, applicable law governs.

• LUWEI has no obligation to pre-screen content posted by users (photos, videos, reviews, etc.).
• Primary responsibility for any legal dispute arising from user-posted content — including copyright infringement, portrait rights infringement, or defamation — lies with the user who posted it.
• When a rights infringement report is received, LUWEI acts promptly under the procedure in Section 9-4, and where it has acted through due process it may assert platform liability protection.
• Accounts that repeatedly infringe the copyright of others may be restricted or permanently suspended.

No illegal use, rights infringement, disruption, abnormal automation abuse, hacking, reverse engineering, or privacy violations.

• Posting others' photos, videos, or content without permission
• Writing fake reviews or malicious content

LUWEI will make reasonable efforts to provide the Service, and liability may be limited for force majeure or third-party outages.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
• In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek resolution by mutual discussion; jurisdiction follows applicable law.
• Amendments: LUWEI may amend these Terms. The change and its effective date will be announced within the service or by email to your registered address at least 7 days in advance — at least 30 days in advance where the change is unfavourable to users.
• If you do not accept an amendment, you may terminate by deleting your account before the effective date. Continuing to use the service after the effective date is treated as acceptance.
