Baekjasan Oncheon

Natural alkaline hot spring in Gyeongsan. Water rises from 800m underground, rich in minerals. Location in Gyeongsan limits access but worth a visit if nearby. The outdoor bath is the reason to come, with two conditions attached. It's mixed-gender, so a swimsuit is required, and it runs 09:00–18:00, shorter hours than the sauna. Come during the day or you'll miss it. Water sits at 38°C, positioned facing a waterfall. The indoor hot spring bath is 40°C. Sauna is a single public sauna, open from 06:00, so an early morning soak works, though the outdoor bath is still locked at that hour. Sauna-only entry is 9,500 KRW; adding the outdoor bath brings it to 12,000 KRW. Booked online it lands around 9,900 KRW. Open year-round, but the ticket window closes at 21:00, so late-night entry isn't possible. Lockers, shampoo, body wash, slippers and hair dryers are provided, with parking and vending machines on site. Couples and children are both welcome, and cash and cards are accepted.
