4-star resort at the foot of Seoraksan in Goseong, Gangwon. Certified by Korea Tourism Association (Feb 2025). Sauna located in Sonofelice annex 1F with dry/steam rooms and hot/extra hot/cold/event/outdoor baths. Sauna admission is 17,000 KRW for adults (middle school and up) and 12,000 KRW for children (36 months to elementary); under 36 months is free with proof of age. No advance booking is needed. It sits inside a resort, so a quick call to the sauna line on 033-639-3400 before you set off saves a wasted trip. Hours are 07:00-19:00 on weekdays and 07:00-20:00 at weekends, with closing days posted on the official site. The water is alkaline hot spring water drawn from 500m underground, and the same spring water is piped to all guest rooms. The baths run from a warm bath through an extra hot bath, a cold plunge pool and an event bath, ending at the outdoor bath - though the outdoor bath shuts when there is freezing or strong wind in winter, so call first if that is what you are going for. Saunas are a dry dock and a steam dock. Mixed-gender bathing is not allowed from age 4, and outside food and drink are not permitted. Towels, shampoo, body wash and hair dryers are provided, parking is free, and both cash and cards are accepted.
