Ganghwa Finland Sauna
강화핀란드사우나
Twelve standalone sauna cabins looking over the West Sea, booked in three-hour blocks.
About this place
NotesOpened in July 2026 on a hillside facing the Seonsu ferry pier at the southern end of Ganghwa Island. Twelve standalone sauna cabins are set into the slope, so each one looks out over either the sea or the woods. These are wood-fired Finnish saunas. There is no warm bath or cold plunge at all; the place is built around the sauna, resting, and the view. Cabins come in three sizes. The small one starts at 50,000 KRW for two and goes to 80,000 KRW for four; the medium starts at 95,000 KRW for five up to 110,000 KRW for six; the large starts at 125,000 KRW for seven up to 140,000 KRW for eight. Beyond the base headcount it is 15,000 KRW per person. Sessions run in three-hour blocks starting at 10:00, 13:00 and 16:00. The three hours apply to the cabin itself; the second-floor showers, lounge and terrace can be used regardless of time. Sauna clothes, towels and shared shampoo and soap are provided, while toothbrushes and cleansing foam are sold at the shop downstairs, along with stone-baked eggs and ramyeon. Open 10:00-19:00, closed the first Tuesday of each month. Booking is required. Same-day booking is possible, but the fire needs time, so call at least an hour ahead. There is parking for more than twenty cars. The access road is steep, so drive slowly.
