Busan's largest hot spring — overwhelming variety of pools alone
About this place
NotesBusan's iconic large-scale hot spring facility. So spacious that first-timers might not know where to start. Worth adding to a Busan trip itinerary at least once. The cold side splits in two. An 18C sharp cold plunge and a 29C milder cave-style cool pool sit apart, so you set your own temperature gap when you go back and forth with the hot baths. Saunas are a dry sauna at 85C and a steam room at 50C. The outdoor bath runs 38C, easy to sit in for a long stretch. On the hot side the 44C high-temperature bath is the hottest, followed by a 42C Japanese pagoda tree bath, a 41C half-body bath and a 41C lying bath. The 40C group holds a salt bath and a mint bath, and the beer bath is on the second floor. Count the 30C mini pool and that is 11 or more baths. The men's and women's sides carry the same lineup. Admission is 15,000 KRW on weekdays, 18,000 KRW on weekends. Doors open 05:30 and close 22:00, with last entry at 21:30, so late nights are out. Open year-round. There is a separate jjimjilbang rest area, and towels, bath towels, shampoo, body wash, slippers, a hair dryer and lockers are provided. Cash and cards both work, and children are allowed. The site runs 1,300 pyeong and sits a five-minute walk from Oncheonjang Station. Hotel Nongshim guests get 50 percent off. Weekends draw crowds, and construction is scheduled for March to April 2026, so check before going around then.
