Itaewon Land (Closed and Demolished)

Itaewon Land is gone. Unlike other closed venues, the building itself no longer exists. It stopped operating around the Covid period, the building was demolished and used as a parking lot for a while, and the site is now under redevelopment as a residential-commercial complex. (Confirmed 11 August 2026.) English and Chinese travel content still lists it as "the 24-hour jjimjilbang in Itaewon." Its location made it a standard stop for foreign visitors for years, and because you could sleep there it also appeared on plenty of budget-accommodation lists. Those posts were never taken down. Put the address into a map today and you do not get a closed shop, you get a construction site. There is no replacement jjimjilbang within walking distance of Itaewon or Hannam, so plan on taking the subway. Options below.
