Jongro Sauna The Private Spa

Jongro Sauna, in business for 32 years, reopened its womens floor in June 2026 as a one-person scrub and spa. It is women only. The scrub takes place in a private room. Each room has its own spa bed and soaking tub, so the flow is different from the usual scrub done in a corner of a public bathhouse. The base course runs 60 minutes at an opening rate of 77,000 KRW, and you can add focused work on a specific area at 20,000 KRW per ten minutes. A 30,000 KRW deposit is paid in advance, with the balance settled on site. Before and after the scrub you can use the jade sauna, built with natural Chuncheon jade, for as long as you like. There is a separate powder room and tea lounge to finish up in. Open daily 07:00-22:00, by reservation only. Alongside phone and KakaoTalk they run LINE and WhatsApp channels, and the house rules are published in English and Japanese as well as Korean. They have been serving foreign visitors from the start, so the language barrier is lower than usual here. It is close to Jongno 3-ga Station, Ikseon-dong and Insa-dong. Arriving more than 20 minutes late counts as a no-show, so leave some margin.
