NotesA carbonated hot spring in Angseong-myeon, Chungju. It uses natural carbonated water rising from more than 600m underground; at around 25°C, the carbonated pool feels cool. The water is described as never reused or reheated. Reservation-only outdoor Finnish saunas (for 2 or 4 people) and 2-hour family baths let groups bathe privately. Entry is ₩10,000–12,000 depending on the source, and 2 hours of the outdoor sauna plus carbonated spring costs ₩50,000 for two (per 2025 articles). The carbonated water supply stops at 5:30 PM on weekdays and 6:30 PM on weekends, so go early. Closed Wednesdays. Buses run from Chungju Bus Terminal, but driving is easier.
