ESPA brand. The Ryokucha Serenity Ritual (Uji tea herbal ball + hot stones) is recommended. Cave-like relaxation room. The spa + Pierre Hermé afternoon tea combo is popular. One important caveat — the official page states that day-spa guests are not allowed to use the saunas or hot tubs, which are reserved for hotel guests and members. The dry and steam saunas sit beside the pool and are mixed-gender, so swimwear is worn; the hot tubs are inside each changing room. Under-16s cannot use the sauna, spa or fitness area. Appointments are required, and arriving 15 minutes early leaves time for the consultation form.
