Sinbuk Hot Spring

A natural hot spring located in Sinbuk-myeon, Pocheon, accessible within about one hour by car from Seoul. Cold plunge 21C, warm bath 37C, hot bath (yeoltang) 42C. Beyond the indoor tubs there are two outdoor baths on the warm side and one outdoor cold bath, so the hot-cold rotation can be run out in the open air or kept entirely indoors. Three dry saunas, clearly separated by heat band: jade sauna 70C, yellow clay sauna 80C, charcoal sauna 99C. Sitting out the charcoal room and then cutting it with the 21C plunge is the obvious loop here. No steam room. Hours differ by section. The oncheon (hot spring) spa runs 08:00-18:00, the bade pool a shorter 10:00-17:00, so time your visit if the pool is what you came for. Last admission is one hour before closing, and it shuts every Tuesday. Entry from 17,000 KRW, with discounts on Naver reservations and on weekday early-bird entry before 09:00. Parking is free, and cash, cards and the Munhwa Nuri card are all accepted. The entrance and restrooms are wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible parking bay. No Wi-Fi.
