A men-only private spa built for one person at a time. In Korea a body scrub usually happens in the corner of a public bathhouse; here there are two rooms and only one guest in each. Both the space and the therapist are male, a combination that is genuinely hard to find. Each room holds a single bathtub, a shower booth and a massage bed. When you book you choose the water temperature from three levels and a bath scent from options including hinoki, lavender, jasmine and lemon, and you pick your tea in advance too. There is no sauna; the half-bath is the centre of it. There are three courses. The spa scrub pairs a half-bath with a full-body scrub, 50 minutes for 98,000 KRW. Body scaling adds steam enzyme therapy and facial care, 80 minutes for 148,000 KRW. Small luxury adds a full-body pack, 100 minutes for 198,000 KRW. The scrub uses Dead Sea salt and seaweed powder. It is 86m from exit 1 of Danggok Station on the Sillim Line, about a minute on foot. Booking only, taken through KakaoTalk, Naver Talk or Instagram DM. Parking is available next to the convenience store on the ground floor. There is a door lock at the entrance, so get the code in advance.
