Suwon Onsugol Oncheon
온수골 온천
Suwon's only protected hot spring zone. Massive 4,000-pyeong facility with outdoor bath, self-controlled wet sauna, and Tokyo-style outdoor relaxation chairs.
About this place
NotesA massive facility with outdoor baths, multiple saunas, jjimjilbang, sleeping rooms, a family theater, PC room, and gym. The standout feature is the outdoor relaxation area with a clean, Tokyo-sauna aesthetic. The wet sauna also delivers serious heat. The baths are spacious and well-maintained, with ample rest areas scattered throughout. A place you would want to visit daily if you lived nearby. The outdoor bath is the centerpiece. The steam room is a self-loyly setup, so you pour water on the stones yourself to bring the heat up. That is why some say the baseline temperature feels a touch low, and it is also the fix. Four reclining chairs sit out in the open-air cooldown area. Indoors there is a sleeping room, plus jjimjilbang, a family theater, a PC room, and a gym, enough to fill a whole day. This is Suwon's only designated hot spring protection zone, on a site of roughly 4,000 pyeong (about 13,000 square meters). Address: 232 Dongsuwon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, 769m from Exit 2 of Maetan-Gwonseon Station on the Suin-Bundang Line. By car, come in from the Suwon tollgate on the Gyeongbu Line or the Singal IC; there is parking. Public transport is a bit awkward. Open 24 hours, year-round. 12,000 KRW adults (age 7 and up), 10,000 KRW children (12 months to 6), 11,000 KRW seniors (65 and up). Phone 031-221-4277.
