A bathhouse in Jeongja-dong, Bundang, featuring spacious bathing areas for a relaxing soak. The address is the 9th floor of the Downtown building, 97 Baekhyeon-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam. Being high up in the building, the bathing hall catches good daylight. It is 295m from Exit 3 of Sunae Station, and parking is free for three hours. Entry starts at 14,000 KRW; doors open at 05:00 and close at 23:50. Open year round, but not 24 hours, so late-night visits are out. Two indoor tubs, a warm bath and a cold plunge, plus one dry sauna. No steam room, no outdoor bath. What it does have is a separate totonoi cool-down space, so the flow of moving between hot and cold and then sitting down to recover works without a fuss. The tubs are roomy enough that a moderate crowd does not leave you hunting for a spot. Towels, lockers, shampoo, body wash and hair dryers are stocked, so you can turn up empty-handed. Children are allowed, and both cash and cards are accepted. No Wi-Fi. Weekends draw a crowd, and it is a fair distance if you are coming from outside Bundang. Enquiries: 031-711-1108.
