Permanently closed — where to go instead near Yongsan and Seoul Station
About this place
NotesDragon Hill Spa at 40 Hangang-daero 21na-gil in Yongsan is no longer operating. It suspended business during the Covid period and never reopened after distancing rules were lifted, and its official website no longer resolves. By mid-2025 it had also disappeared from Naver Map. We could not find a formal closure notice, but the lower floors of the building are reported to be occupied by other businesses and the passage up to the jjimjilbang is blocked. (Confirmed 11 August 2026.) The problem is that English and Chinese travel content still lists Dragon Hill as the default Seoul jjimjilbang. It sat right beside Yongsan Station and it was large, so for years it was the standard recommendation for foreign visitors, and blog posts and forum answers written five to seven years ago are still ranking. Turn up at that address today and you cannot get in. Being honest about it: there is effectively no 24-hour jjimjilbang left within walking distance of Yongsan or Seoul Station. Plan on a 15 to 20 minute subway ride. Alternatives are listed below.
