Ambassador Seoul Pullman Sauna

The sauna occupies the second basement level of the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel. Non-guest admission is ₩33,000 and entry is limited to ages 16 and over. A body scrub costs ₩35,000–40,000 and an oil massage ₩100,000–110,000. An indoor pool and a fitness centre sit one floor above, on B1. The hotel is at 287 Sogong-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, roughly 400 m from Exit 1 of Dongguk University Station (Dongdaeipgu). The facility has been in operation since 1955. It closes at 10 PM and is shut on the first Wednesday of each month. The B1 indoor pool is a 17 m, three-lane pool with iolite filtration, heated year-round. On the fourth floor, the Urban Escape area holds an outdoor pool, two jacuzzis and an open-air bath. An eight-bay screen golf range is also on B1. Water is kept at 42.7°C in the hot bath, 41°C in the warm bath and 21°C in the cold bath, while the dry sauna runs at 76°C and the steam sauna at 51.9°C. That spread allows the hot-cold alternation common in Korean bathhouses. The washing area has eight seated and eight standing shower stations, plus a ten-seat powder room. Because it sits on B2, ventilation is described as somewhat limited. Booking an executive-grade room or above includes sauna access, breakfast and happy hour.
