One thing to expect: the air can carry soot, so don't be surprised if your nose feels a little sooty afterwards. A chamsutgama (charcoal kiln sauna) is a Korean heat room built from the kilns once used to fire oak charcoal. This venue pairs that with a sulfur bath kept at around 40°C. The heat chambers are graded by temperature: the flower chamber is the hottest at roughly 200°C, followed by a high-heat room at 150°C, a medium room at 100°C and a low room at 80°C. Given that spread, most visitors work upward from the cooler rooms rather than starting at the top. There is an outdoor bath, the men's section is described as the larger of the two, and reviewers frequently single out the clean feel of the sulfur water. Opening hours run 06:00 to 24:00, every day of the year. A bath ticket is ₩11,500 and jjimjilbang (Korean sauna lounge) entry is ₩18,500; children pay ₩9,500 and ₩12,000 respectively.
