Prime Nodaji Sauna

A sauna on basement level two of the Prime shopping building in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Regulars single out the cold plunge, around 12 to 13°C, as genuinely bracing. The bathing room has four tubs: a warm bath at 38.8°C, a mugwort bath at 41.8°C, a lemon bath at 41.5°C and the cold plunge at 12.4°C. A mugwort bath, or ssuktang, is a long-standing fixture of Korean bathhouses, filled with water steeped in mugwort. Cold plunge temperatures differ by section: roughly 12°C on the men's side, around 19°C on the women's. Two sauna rooms are available, a dry sauna at 79°C and a steam sauna at 73°C, along with a rest area for cooling down between rounds. Cycling between hot water, a sauna and a cool-down is the customary rhythm in a Korean bathhouse. Admission is ₩11,000 and the sauna runs until around 21:00. Visitors consistently mention clean tubs and that nobody saves spots with their belongings. Silicone cupping treatments are also part of its local reputation. This is a small neighborhood sauna rather than a large complex, and published facility information is limited, though it holds a 4.4 Google rating among local sauna-goers.
