Flying In or Out of Gimpo — A Facial, Head Spa or Private Body Scrub Close to the Airport (Winter 2026)
Many flights from Tokyo Haneda and Osaka Kansai land at Gimpo, not Incheon. Here is how to fit a treatment into the day you arrive or the day you leave: a facial two subway stops from the airport in Magok, a head spa in Hapjeong on the airport railroad, and a private Korean body scrub in Gangnam on the Line 9 express — with prices, opening hours and directions.

LUWEI Selection
LUWEI Selection in this guide
At a glance — how far from Gimpo, and how long
Gimpo sits close to central Seoul, so even on the day you land or the day you fly home there is room for one treatment. Lines 5 and 9 and the airport railroad (AREX) all stop at Gimpo Airport station, a walk from the international terminal.
· Magok — facial and body care: two stops on Line 5 (Gimpo Airport → Songjeong → Magok). The closest of the three.
· Hapjeong — head spa: AREX to Hongik University, then one stop on Line 2, or walk.
· Gangnam, Eonju — private body scrub: about 30 minutes on the Line 9 express to Sinnonhyeon, then one stop on a local train.
All three are LUWEI partners: pick a date and time on the venue's page and pay the deposit by international card.
Magok — KeieM Esthetic, the closest to the airport
KeieM Esthetic Magok — from the jawline down to the neck and shoulders
On the fifth floor of Ryuma Tower, right by Magok station. The salon treats the jawline, neck and shoulders as one line — good for a neck stiff from the flight, or for freshening your face before you fly home.
· Neck, shoulder and upper-body hand care, 60 min, 120,000 KRW
· Face and décolleté hand care, 60 min, 150,000 KRW
· "Dress-line" air-jet body care, 60 min, 280,000 KRW
· Jawline device care, 60 min, 400,000 KRW
· Open weekdays 10:00–20:30, Saturdays 10:00–17:30 (last treatment starts 19:30 on weekdays, 16:30 on Saturdays)
· Closed Sundays and public holidays — including 1 January
Staff may not speak other languages, so LUWEI passes on any requests you leave when booking. First visit? The 60-minute neck and shoulder care. Want your face done too? The 60-minute face and décolleté care.
Hapjeong — Mosante Head Spa, for one or for two
Mosante Head Spa Hapjeong — a scalp-first head spa in a cypress-wood room
A two-minute walk from Exit 2 of Hapjeong station, on the fourth floor. The rooms smell of hinoki cypress, and the head spa starts with your scalp — just right after a flight's dry cabin air. There is a twin room, so you can be treated side by side.
· Hinoki Forest Healing Spa: 60 min 110,000 KRW / 90 min 150,000 KRW / 120 min 190,000 KRW
· Hinoki Forest Healing Spa for two, 60 min, 220,000 KRW (total for both)
· Open daily 10:00–22:00
There is no waiting area, so arrive on time. Staff dry your hair afterwards, so you can head straight out to dinner. Staying in Hapjeong or Hongdae? This is the easiest treatment to slot in after check-in.
Gangnam — Yeoun, a body scrub course in a room of your own
Yeoun Private Body Scrub — one course, from the bath to the final mask
One minute from Eonju station, on basement level 2 of Eonju S Tower. Women only and by reservation only: you get a room to yourself for the bath, scrub, hair wash and face mask. Everything you need is in the room, so come empty-handed.
· Mugwort and houttuynia — the classic mugwort-oil course, 85 min, 133,000 KRW
· Premium Gold — gold oil, 85 min, 143,000 KRW
· Celine Esthetic Silver — vitamin herbal massage, 90 min, 155,000 KRW
· Open daily 08:00–22:00
It opens at 8 am, so it works for the morning after an early flight into Gimpo. There is a face-mask step, so take your make-up off before the bath.
Getting there: take the Line 9 express from Gimpo Airport to Sinnonhyeon, then one stop on a local train to Eonju. Express trains skip many stations — check the platform board says 급행 (express) before boarding.
Departure day — one last treatment before Gimpo
On the way home, simply run it in reverse: check out, have your treatment, then head back to Gimpo — your last afternoon doesn't go to waste.
· Book so the treatment ends at least three hours before your flight. Magok, two subway stops from the airport, leaves you the most breathing room.
· Leave big suitcases at your hotel or in a station or airport locker so you can relax during the treatment.
· The Japanese New Year holidays (late December to early January) are a busy time on Gimpo routes. Once your dates are set, book your treatment early too.
Booking tips
· Immigration and baggage claim can run long on arrival day, so book your slot about two hours after your scheduled landing.
· Prices are each venue's published rates. On LUWEI you pay only the deposit by international card; the rest is paid at the venue.
· Closing days differ: KeieM Esthetic is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
· If your plans change, check the cancellation policy on the venue's page first.

Private Korean Body Scrub in Gangnam for First-Timers — Your First Course at Yeoun
Yeoun is a women-only private body scrub studio one minute from Exit 7 of Eonju Station in Gangnam. Here it is from a first-timer's point of view: location, hours, prices and how to book, the answers first-timers want (do I undress, does it hurt, what's the order, what about my period), and how to choose by reading each option as a course rather than a scrub. Based on venue-provided information.
