Where to Get a Facial in Myeongdong — 1:1 Esthetic Care Picked by Skin Concern, Open Until 10pm (Autumn 2026)
Want a facial between shopping stops in Myeongdong? Four places within walking distance of Myeongdong Station: a 1:1 esthetic where you choose a course by skin concern, a Korean herbal-cosmetics brand spa, and a women-only room inside a hotel that stays open until 11pm. Prices, hours, how to find them and how to book, based on venues' published information and what venues told us.
Short answer — a clear skin concern: Skin Spa; a brand experience: Whoo Spa
· A clear concern like breakouts, pores or firmness — Skin Spa Myeongdong. Skin check first, then a course suggestion; 70–80 minutes from 120,000 KRW. Until 22:00 on weekdays, closed Sundays
· You want a Korean cosmetics brand experience — O HUI & Whoo Spa Myeongdong. Uses Whoo, O HUI and SU:M37 products; facials from 130,000 KRW. Last booking 19:00
· With a head spa, and staff who speak Japanese — TBC Total Beauty Care Myeongdong. 50-minute head spa 60,000 KRW; facials too
· Late, and women-only — Hera Spa & Esthetic (2F, Sejong Hotel). Body courses with add-on facials, until 23:00
Skin Spa Myeongdong is a LUWEI partner shop (LUWEI earns a commission on bookings made through its pages). Prices and hours come from venues' published information and what venues told us; LUWEI did not try the treatments to check them.
First — an esthetic is not a dermatology clinic
Myeongdong also has plenty of dermatology clinics doing lasers and injections. That's medical treatment, done by doctors. The esthetics on this page are care done by therapists with their hands and devices: cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, massage.
If you want a laser, go to a clinic; if you want to tidy up your skin and rest during a trip, go to an esthetic. Esthetic care usually has no downtime, so you can head straight to dinner afterwards. For stronger peel courses, ask the shop first whether you can wear makeup the same day.
Skin Spa Myeongdong — a skin check, then a course by concern; open until 22:00 on weekdays
Where — 4F, Goryeo Building, 68 Namdaemun-ro, Jung-gu. On Myeongdong's main street, right next to (on the right of) the ARTBOX shop: go in through the entrance with a blue awning reading 「하나이비인후과 · 스킨스파 · 물빛의원」 and take the lift to the 4th floor. There are dermatology clinics in the same building, so the signs make it easy to spot.
Hours — Mon–Fri 11:00–22:00, Sat 11:00–18:00, closed Sundays.
Courses (mostly 70–80 minutes) — Trouble Care & Soothing / Brightening & Firming / Contour & Firming 120,000 KRW each · Aqua Peel & Hydration / Cryo Soothing & Repair / Radiance & Renewal 150,000 each · Pore Care & Tightening / Magic Lift & Firming / Aquaderm & Hydration 180,000 each · peel courses such as Almond Peel and Spicule Renewal 250,000. There's also a 60-minute back and shoulder massage at 120,000 and lymphatic body care at 160,000.
The shop says it measures moisture, oil, pores, elasticity and a "skin age" with a skin-analysis device before treatment, and suggests a course from the result. There's an English menu and a staff member who can help in English.
You can choose a date, time and course and pay by card directly on the LUWEI page.
Good for — not sure which course fits (start with the skin check), a specific concern like breakouts or pores, an evening slot after shopping.
O HUI & Whoo Spa Myeongdong — a Korean herbal-cosmetics brand spa
Where — 5F, 41 Myeongdong 10-gil, Jung-gu.
Hours — 10:00–22:00, open every day. The last booking is listed as 19:00, so late evenings don't work.
Courses — uses LG H&H's Whoo, O HUI and SU:M37 products. Facial 60 minutes, aroma body care, facial plus back care 90 minutes, and courses combined with a head spa. Facials from 130,000 KRW, VIP courses from 370,000.
Booking is required in advance, and the shop says arriving more than 15 minutes late can count as a no-show. It's also sold on travel booking sites (Klook, KKday and others), so comparing prices there is worth a look.
Good for — experiencing a Korean cosmetics brand itself, travellers with a fixed schedule who can book ahead.
TBC Myeongdong and Hera Spa — with a head spa, or late at night
TBC Total Beauty Care Myeongdong — 3F–4F, 21 Myeongdong 4-gil. 10:00–22:00, open every day, booking recommended. The main menu is a 50-minute head spa at 60,000 KRW (10,000–20,000 extra for long hair), and it also does facials, full-body massage and waxing. It lists Japanese-speaking staff. Ask the shop for facial prices.
Hera Spa & Esthetic — 2F, Sejong Hotel, 145 Toegye-ro, a minute from Myeongdong Station exit 10. Daily 09:30–23:00, women only. The base is a private body-scrub course (60 minutes from 99,000 KRW), and you can add face lifting or aqua peel for 50,000 each, or a 60-minute facial bone therapy for 90,000. It suits "full-body care with a bit of face" more than "face only".
Booking — where, and the sentence to send
If the LUWEI page shows a booking button (partner shops), you can book and pay by card there. If there's no button, an Instagram DM to the shop or a travel booking site is fastest.
The sentence to send (copy it and change the time and number of people):
오늘 저녁 7시에 1명, 페이셜 관리 가능할까요? 외국인 관광객이에요.
(Is a facial possible for one person at 7 pm today? I'm a foreign tourist.)
Naver booking and Kakao often need a Korean phone number, which is where travellers get stuck. If neither works for you, LUWEI's booking help is free (by message only, no calls).
Notes — Skin Spa is closed Sundays and closes at 18:00 on Saturdays / Whoo Spa's last booking is 19:00 / if you're shopping straight after, a soothing or hydrating course is an easier choice than a peel.
