Onboarding

Sign-up & registration

How much does it cost to list?

The standard listing fee is ₩300,000 (one time), but under the Early Partner promotion the fee is fully waived if you sign up by 31 December 2026. Partners who join during the free period are never billed a listing fee later either, and the commission is the same: 12% of the amount paid through LUWEI.

Can I sign up without a business registration?

Because of how payouts are processed, a Korean business registration certificate is required. Simplified taxpayers are eligible too. If yours has not been issued yet, we recommend signing up after you receive it.

How long does it take for my store to go live after payment?

A welcome email is sent automatically right after sign-up (during the free period) or payment. Once you change the temporary password and complete the 6 setup steps (notifications, menu, opening hours, photos, payouts, review), guest bookings are activated within 30 minutes on average.

What are the 6 setup steps?

① Register the mobile number and email for partner notifications ② Add your service menu ③ Enter opening hours ④ Upload store photos ⑤ Register your payout account ⑥ Review your store information. Once complete, the booking button appears automatically on your store page.

Can I run it on my own?

Yes. LUWEI handles 4-language translation, bookings, payments and payouts automatically. As a partner you only edit your opening hours, menu and photos yourself, and respond to bookings.
Payment & Settlement

Payments & payouts

When and how do I receive payouts?

Payouts are deposited automatically into your registered account on the 13th of each month. Sales from the 1st to the last day of the previous month are calculated automatically at 03:00 (Korea time) on the 2nd of each month and deposited on the 13th. The 12% commission is deducted, and refunded amounts are excluded from the calculation. No-shows (guests who do not turn up) are settled to the venue at 88% of the amount paid (only the 12% commission is deducted).

What happens if I do not register a payout account?

Payouts accumulate on hold. As soon as you register an account, the accumulated amount is deposited together in the next cycle. The revenue itself is kept safe.

What does the 12% commission apply to?

It applies only to the amount a guest pays through LUWEI. Revenue you take directly (walk-ins, existing members, phone bookings) is not subject to it.

Which payment methods are supported?

Global cards (VISA, Master, JCB, UnionPay, American Express) and simple payments such as KakaoPay, Naver Pay and Samsung Pay are supported. Payment processing is handled by NicePay.
No-Show & Cancellation

No-shows & cancellations

How are no-shows handled?

Once 30 minutes have passed from the booked time, you can mark the booking as a no-show yourself with the [Mark no-show] button on that booking in the Partner Dashboard (the button becomes available 30 minutes after the booked time). The payment is recognised as store revenue as is, and only the 12% commission is deducted before payout (88% of the amount paid). No refund is issued to the guest. Keeping a record of attempts to reach the guest beforehand (KakaoTalk or phone) protects you in the event of a dispute.

What refund applies when a guest cancels on their own?

24 hours before the booked time: 100% refund / 2 hours before: 50% refund / within 2 hours: 0% refund. All of this is processed automatically, and your revenue is settled at 88% of the proportion above (after the commission is deducted).

What happens if I cannot respond in time?

If there is no partner response within 15 minutes of payment, the booking is declined automatically and the guest is refunded 100%. That is lost revenue for you, so we recommend registering a mobile number and email for notifications.

Is there a penalty for declining a booking?

Declining for a legitimate reason (such as a duplicate booking from an external channel) carries no penalty; however, if unjustified declines accumulate three times, your store is temporarily suspended. Your response rate and no-show rate accumulate in the store dashboard and, over the long term, are reflected in search exposure priority.
Translation & Content

Translation & content

Who handles the translation?

LUWEI handles all of it automatically. Enter everything once in Korean and the English, Chinese (Simplified) and Japanese pages are generated automatically. Partners never have to do any translation work.

How do I upload store photos?

At setup step 4 you can upload them yourself from the photo upload tab of the store dashboard. Drag-and-drop and file selection both work. LUWEI uses only what the partner uploads and never uses images without permission.

Does LUWEI also produce its own video content?

It is not included in the standard listing. For stores curated as a LUWEI Pick, a curator may visit, interview and film in person where needed in order to produce original content (at no extra cost). A one-off content production request is also being prepared as a future advertising option.
Operations

Operations & guest handling

Can I pause bookings from a specific country?

Yes. You can designate paused countries in the store dashboard settings. When a guest from that country visits your store page, a paused-service notice is shown instead of the booking button.

How do I temporarily change my opening hours?

You can edit them instantly in the opening hours tab of the store dashboard. Special closing days and one-off opening days can be set date by date, and changes are reflected on the public page immediately.

How do I change service prices or the menu?

You can edit them instantly in the service menu tab of the store dashboard. Existing payments are unaffected, and the new prices apply from the next booking onwards.

How do I receive partner notifications?

By default, email plus KakaoTalk AlimTalk (to your registered mobile number). If the Kakao business channel review is not yet complete, messages are sent via SMS fallback. New bookings, cancellations, no-shows and payout deposits are all notified automatically.
Legal & Tax

Contract, tax & termination

How do I terminate the contract?

Submit a termination request in the store dashboard settings and new bookings are blocked immediately; your store page is unpublished once all existing bookings and payouts have been processed. The ₩300,000 listing fee is not refundable except for a withdrawal of subscription within 7 days (the digital service is provided immediately). Partners who joined during the free promotion paid no listing fee, so the refund rule does not apply to them.

How are tax invoices issued?

Three separate things. (1) Listing fee — NicePay issues a credit card sales slip (a qualified tax receipt) automatically at payment. (2) Booking revenue — the partner provided the service, so the partner files that revenue; LUWEI provides the payout statement as a PDF. (3) Intermediation commission — LUWEI issues an electronic tax invoice naming the partner as recipient by the 10th of the following month, which the partner uses to deduct the VAT included in the commission as input tax.

Who owns the store information and booking data?

Store information, photos and the service menu are the partner’s assets, and you can download them on termination. Personal data of guests who booked is held by LUWEI and retained for 5 years under the E-Commerce Act and the Framework Act on National Taxes. Details are available at /legal/privacy.

Where can I find the terms, privacy policy and refund policy?

The partner agreement is at /legal/partner-agreement, the privacy policy at /legal/privacy, and the refund policy at /legal/refund.
