Booking Yakson House in Seoul as a Visitor — One Session, No Package, at Gyodae, Hannam and Gupabal (Autumn 2026)
01

Short answer — for a single session, three branches you can book right away

Yakson House is a Korean esthetic brand that started in 1979, known for hand-technique care of the face contour and body line. In Korea most regulars come on multi-session programmes, so a traveller who only wants one session often doesn't know who to ask.

· Staying around Gangnam — Gyodae branch. Near Gyodae Station (Lines 2 and 3), open until 22:00 on weekdays
· A day in Itaewon or Hannam — Hannam branch. Open until 22:00 on weekdays
· Heading to Bukhansan or Eunpyeong Hanok Village — Gupabal branch. Near Gupabal Station (Line 3), open until 22:00 on weekdays

At all three you can pick a course, date and time on the LUWEI page and pay by card at the official one-time price. The signature face care, "K-Beauty Celebrity Face Care", is 85 minutes for 180,000 KRW; the shorter "Skin Firming Care" is 50 minutes for 100,000 KRW.

All three are LUWEI partner shops (LUWEI earns a commission on bookings made through its pages). Prices and hours come from venues' published information and what venues told us; LUWEI did not try the treatments to check them. How much difference you feel varies from person to person.

02

What Yakson House is — hands rather than machines

Sessions are one-to-one, and the core of it is a therapist pressing and working the face, neck and body by hand. Some people find the pressure strong, so just say so if it hurts.

On a first visit there's a short consultation about what you want, and the care is adjusted to that. It's esthetic care, not a medical procedure like lasers or injections.

It's often introduced as "small face care", but no single session promises to change your face shape. On a trip, thinking of it as "time to ease puffiness and properly rest" sets the right expectation.

The prices on LUWEI are Yakson House's official one-time prices from head office (VAT included), and they're the same at all three branches.

Which course — how to choose

· Not sure where to start — K-Beauty Celebrity Face Care, 85 min, 180,000 KRW (the signature face care)
· Short — Skin Firming Care / L-Line Neck Care, 50 min, 100,000 KRW each
· Face line — Small Face Contour Care / Sculpted Contour Care, 85 min, 170,000 each; Double Chin Care, 80 min, 180,000; Jawline Youthful Face Care, 115 min, 300,000
· Face + body — Custom Care A (60 min face + 20 min upper body), 80 min, 160,000; Custom Care B (65 min face + 50 min body), 115 min, 230,000
· Body only — Slim Body Care, 100 min, 190,000; S-Line Body Care, 100 min, 200,000; Special Upper Body / Lower Body Care, 90 min, 170,000 each

Only at Gupabal — K-Balance Celebrity Care, 120 min, 240,000; Special Bridal Care, 130 min, 240,000; Intensive Care for Expectant & New Mothers, 55 min, 130,000.

Your makeup comes off for face care, so bring your kit if you have dinner plans afterwards.

The three branches — where and when

Gyodae — Room 202, Harim International Building, 316 Seocho-daero, Seocho-gu. Near Gyodae Station (Lines 2 and 3), and close to Gangnam Station too. Weekdays 10:00–22:00, Sat 09:00–17:20, public holidays 10:00–17:00, closed Sundays.

Hannam — Room 202, Brighton Hannam shopping arcade, 24 Dokseodang-ro 14-gil, Yongsan-gu. In Hannam-dong, close to the Itaewon and Hannam area. Mon–Fri 10:00–22:00, Sat 09:00–17:30, public holidays 10:00–17:00, closed Sundays.

Gupabal — Room 213, 2F, Human Plaza, 19 Jingwan 2-ro, Eunpyeong-gu. Near Gupabal Station (Line 3). Mon 10:00–22:00, Tue–Fri 12:00–22:00, Sat 09:00–17:00, closed Sundays. It's close to Eunpyeong Hanok Village and Jingwansa temple, so it works well after a walk on Bukhansan.

Weekday evenings run late, so a session after a day of sightseeing is easy to fit in. On Saturdays they close around 5pm, so morning to lunchtime is better.

How to book — no Korean phone number needed

1. Open the branch's page on LUWEI
2. Under "Book", choose a course, date and time
3. Pay with an overseas card (VISA, Master, JCB, UnionPay, AMEX)
4. When the shop accepts, you get a confirmation email. If the shop doesn't reply within its response window, the booking is cancelled automatically and fully refunded

Cancelling — full refund up to 24 hours before; after that, the shop's own rates apply and are shown on the booking screen.

A few lines for the day:
오늘 처음이에요. (It's my first time today.)
약하게 해주세요. (Softer, please.)
얼굴 위주로 해주세요. (Please focus on my face.)

The consultation may be in Korean, so have a translation app open. LUWEI's booking help is also free (by message only, no calls).
