Private seawater jjimjilbang in Yeongjong-do. 10 min from Incheon Airport.
About this place
NotesNote: temporarily closed for interior renovation until 31 August 2026, reopening on 1 September. A private seawater jjimjilbang. The seawater is refined seven times before being heated. The rooms are self-contained and finished in cypress wood, using roasted elvan stone, mugwort and houttuynia. Haesujjim means warming the body with heated sea water. The purified seawater is brought to about 75°C and poured over roasted elvan stone, together with herbs including mugwort, houttuynia, cnidium, cypress, Korean chrysanthemum, mint and cinnamon. The temperature is high at the start, so it is better to ease in gradually rather than all at once. Rooms come in two grades. The standard room is ₩38,000 for two people, with ₩16,000 per additional person. The premium room is for groups of five or more: ₩50,000 as the two-person base plus ₩16,000 per additional person, so ₩98,000 for five. Reservations are taken through Naver, and you can also walk in and wait for a room. Toiletries are not laid out in the rooms but are sold on site. The venue is on Yeongjong Island in Jung-gu, Incheon, about a 10-minute drive from Incheon Airport. It opens from 09:00, and it is worth checking the closing day before you visit. Parking is free, and there is a waiting area, separate restrooms and Wi-Fi.
Practical notes
Individual rooms are finished in cypress wood; purified seawater heated to 75°C is used with roasted maekbanseok stones and herbs such as mugwort, cypress and cinnamon. Book through Naver, or walk in and wait for a room. Toiletries are sold on site.
