Aquafield Goyang
아쿠아필드 고양
Upscale public bath. Better for socializing than solo relaxation.
About this place
NotesThe luxurious black-toned interior gives it a stylish feel, and the wide floor with high ceilings was pleasant, though there were too many visitors to register that spaciousness. The saunas and jjimjilbang (Korean sauna lounge) areas were also noisy with crowds. Aquafield Goyang sits on the fourth floor of Starfield Goyang, split into a jjimjilbang spa and a water park. Outdoors are a rooftop infinity pool facing Bukhansan and a jacuzzi. Three heated rooms follow: a Media Art Room pairing 360-degree video with radiant warmth, a high-temperature bulgama (traditional fire kiln) of Gochang ochre brick, and a Maekbanseok Room lined with Yecheon elvan stone. The Relax Room, with recliners and a television, is adults only. Measured temperatures run 38–39°C in the warm bath and 40–42°C in the hot bath, and the two large cold baths are mild rather than sharply chilled, worth knowing if you want a strong hot-cold contrast. Admission runs ₩26,000/₩21,000 (adult/child) for the jjimjilbang spa, ₩46,000 and ₩36,000 for the water park, and ₩56,000 and ₩46,000 for a multi-pass, free under 36 months. The spa runs until 22:00 and closes annually from 30 March to 3 April. Robes and towels are provided; swimwear and winter coats for the outdoor foot spa can be rented. Samsong Station Exit 3 is 745 meters away.
Practical notes
Discount tickets turn up on KKday and Klook, with the lowest around ₩17,500. Mixed bathing is not allowed for children 48 months and older. Measured in summer 2026: warm pools 38–39°C, hot pool 40–42°C, and two large cold pools at about 31°C. Temperatures are gentle overall, so if you come for a sharp hot-cold contrast it may feel mild. Group visits are handled by reservation.
