Aquafield Hanam

A premium jjimjilbang (Korean sauna lounge) on the third floor of Starfield Hanam. The interior is hotel-grade, and the heated rooms include a Himalayan salt room and a charcoal room, while outdoor baths and hot spring facilities round out the visit without leaving the city. The bathing area is arranged by temperature: a 42°C hot bath, a 40°C outdoor bath, a 38°C carbonated bath and a 16°C cold plunge. Alternating between hot and cold water is a common habit in Korean bathhouses, and this spread makes it easy to try. Five sauna rooms follow: an 88°C Finnish sauna, a 72°C yellow earth kiln finished in ochre clay, a 65°C crystal sauna, a 48°C mist sauna and an ice sauna held at 0°C. For resting there is a sleeping room, a recliner lounge and an outdoor healing zone. Jjimjilbang admission is ₩26,000 for adults and ₩21,000 for children, free under 36 months. Water park entry is ₩46,000 and ₩36,000, and a multi-pass covering both is ₩56,000 and ₩46,000. Doors are open 10:00 to 22:00 with last entry at 20:00. Towels, shampoo, body wash and hair dryers are provided, and swimsuits, swim caps and life jackets can be rented. Visitors note that the salt room fills up quickly and that the parking lot is congested on weekends, so public transport is worth considering.
