A natural hot spring drawn from 1,750 m underground. Sauna at 90°C with a 18–20°C cold plunge. No TV, just piano background music. Towels are provided, so you can come empty-handed. As of the 2025 season the resort was renamed from Lotte Arai Resort to Arai Mountain Resort. The SPA MANA facility in the Lodge building has been reorganized into a wellness complex that includes the bathing areas, so fees and hours may differ from before — it is safest to confirm with the official site or by phone before visiting. Older bathing prices still listed on travel aggregators may be out of date.
