All 3 free communal baths are source-fed kakenagashi. Lake Okushima is known for its "Shima Blue" water. Bring a towel. Sekizenkan ryokan — the 300-year-old building said to have inspired Spirited Away (day visit ¥1,500). Direct bus from Tokyo Station, 3.5 hours.
