Korean Body Scrub Prices in Seoul (2026) — What You Actually Pay
What a Korean body scrub actually costs in Seoul — the two price tiers, real menu prices from specific venues, and how booking and payment work.
Quick Answer — There Are Two Price Tiers
There are two ways to get a body scrub in Seoul, and the gap between them is large.
Bathhouse scrub: the bathhouse entry fee plus roughly 20,000-30,000 KRW, paid directly to the attendant at the scrub table inside.
Private one-person scrub shop: roughly 77,000-199,000 KRW. It runs in a private room at a booked time, with bathing and treatment bundled into one course.
Both are called seshin, but the space and the process differ. Choose by budget and by the setting you want.
Bathhouse Scrub — Entry Fee Plus 20,000-30,000 KRW
This is the cheaper route. You enter the bathhouse, soak long enough to soften the skin, put your name down at the scrub table, and wait your turn. The scrub fee is separate from entry and is usually paid directly to the attendant in cash or by card.
The Park Spa Land in Yeongdeungpo charges 10,000 KRW entry (7,000 KRW children, 1,000 KRW uniform, 1,000 KRW night surcharge), runs 24/7, and has a relatively large number of scrub attendants. Low entry plus easy access to a scrub makes it a budget-friendly route.
Scrub price lists vary by bathhouse and are often posted inside the bathing area, so checking on-site is the accurate approach.
Private Scrub Shops — 77,000-199,000 KRW
These run in private rooms and have grown in number over the past few years. They are reservation-based, with bathing, the scrub, and a massage or pack bundled into a single course. Durations typically run 60 to 120 minutes.
Many foreign visitors choose this format when a shared bathhouse feels uncomfortable, or when waiting for a turn without a shared language is difficult. Some venues are women-only or men-only.
Real Venue Prices — As of 2026
Yeoun (Gangnam, 1 min from Eonju Station, women only) — Houttuynia and fermented mugwort 85 min 133,000 KRW, hydrating soothing 85 min 133,000 KRW, premium gold 85 min 143,000 KRW, cocktail 90 min 150,000 KRW. Per information confirmed with the venue, Japanese guests most often choose the houttuynia mugwort course and Korean guests the premium gold. 08:00-20:00.
ONA (Myeongdong, 3 min from the station, women only) — Basic scrub 99,000 KRW, seaweed scrub 120,000 KRW, scrub plus massage course A 180,000 KRW, course B 199,000 KRW. Open 09:00-23:55, useful for late slots.

Booking and Payment — What to Know
Private scrub shops generally require advance booking. Some, like Jongro Sauna The Private Spa, take a deposit up front, so check the cancellation terms.
Bathhouse scrubs need no booking, but you may wait. Weekend afternoons and evenings are the busiest; weekday mornings tend to have the shortest waits.
Some older bathhouses are cash only — Seongsu-tang is 9,000 KRW, cash. Scrub attendants also sometimes ask for cash, so carrying some is the easier approach.
Prices and hours follow venue notices and are subject to change. Confirming before you visit is recommended.
Choosing by Budget
If you want to keep it around 30,000-40,000 KRW: The Park Spa Land at 10,000 KRW entry plus a scrub arranged on site.
Around 80,000-100,000 KRW: Jongro Sauna The Private Spa at 77,000 KRW for 60 minutes, ONA basic scrub at 99,000 KRW, Spa Homme from 98,000 KRW.
Around 130,000-200,000 KRW: Yeoun 85-minute courses at 133,000-143,000 KRW, ONA scrub-plus-massage bundles at 180,000-199,000 KRW.
